About the Role:
We are partnering with a highly respected organisation in the not-for-profit sector that is making a real impact in the community. Located in Perth central suburbs, they are seeking a dynamic and values-driven HR Business Partner to support the Chief People & Culture Officer in leading and implementing effective employee relations, industrial relations, payroll, and HR reporting strategies.
You’ll act as a right hand to the CPO, play a pivotal role in team development, and lead with confidence and authenticity. This is a hands-on, business-partnering position where you’ll not only advise and coach internal stakeholders but also help shape the broader People & Culture strategy.
What we need from you:
- Ability to provide practical and timely generalist HR advice across employee relations, performance, L&D, and more
- Proven experience managing employee relations matters to drive fair and compliant outcomes
- Hands-on payroll oversight, including a strong understanding of systems and process efficiency
- Advanced HR reporting skills, with a sharp eye for insights and continuous improvement
- Experience in managing injury management/return to work programs
- Confidence delivering HR projects such as values/culture refresh and policy updates
- Strong stakeholder management in a business partnering model
What you’ll bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or related field (Cert IV in HR minimum)
- Demonstrated experience in a similar HRBP or senior generalist HR role
- Confidence in navigating sensitive IR/ER issues with professionalism and care
- A modern, creative mindset—comfortable using digital tools like ChatGPT and social media to enhance HR delivery
- An approachable, inclusive leadership style with natural mentoring ability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all organisational levels
- A values-driven approach with a strong preference for on-site, face-to-face collaboration
