About the Role:
We are seeking experienced Engineers to join the local government team. These roles are designed to create a talent pool for future permanent or contract opportunities across the Perth metropolitan region. Reporting to the relevant Engineering Manager or Coordinator, you will contribute to planning, designing, and delivering infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance, sustainability, and community outcomes.
What we need from you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Transport Engineering
- Relevant engineering experience, ideally in local government or public sector projects
- Understanding of engineering design software and project management principles
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Driver’s licence and flexibility to travel to project sites
- Must have unrestricted work rights for Australia and already be living in Perth
