About the Role
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role will focus on driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and representing the company’s brand and values in all interactions. You will work closely with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs and deliver measurable results.
What we need from you:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve company growth targets.
- Identify new market opportunities and build strong relationships with potential clients.
- Manage and nurture existing client relationships to ensure repeat business and satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver professional presentations, proposals, and tender submissions.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align sales initiatives with company goals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to guide strategic decisions.
- Attend industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings to expand the company’s presence.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales, tendering, and client relationship management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
