Role Overview
An exciting senior leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join the team at a new Beach Resort in Perth.
This role is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences across the resort, including Restaurant & Bar, all wedding and event food and beverage operations, and bar experiences throughout the property.
Working closely with the Events Operations Manager and Rooms Operations Manager, this position plays a key role in creating seamless, high-quality guest experiences and offers a clear pathway to General Manager / Resort Manager for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Food & Beverage Operations
- Oversee all food and beverage operations across the resort
- Lead service delivery for restaurants, bar, weddings, and events
- Maintain consistently high standards of service, presentation, and guest experience
- Manage menus, beverage programs, tastings, and event offerings
- Oversee F&B setup for ceremonies, receptions, and after-party experiences
Leadership & Team Management
- Recruit, train, roster, and lead all food and beverage staff
- Build a strong, service-driven culture aligned with the resort brand
- Mentor supervisors and develop future leaders
- Conduct performance reviews and ongoing training initiatives
Financial & Commercial Management
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and cost control across F&B operations
- Monitor food and beverage margins and labour costs
- Oversee stock control, ordering, supplier relationships, and inventory
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and enhance guest experience
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, RSA, food safety, and WHS requirements
- Maintain clean, safe, and well-presented service areas
- Manage incident reporting and risk mitigation processes
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with the Events Operations Manager on run sheets, timing, and service flow
- Collaborate with the Rooms Operations Manager to enhance overall guest experience
- Act as senior duty manager during peak periods, weddings, and major events
Guest Experience & Brand Representation
- Deliver a calm, polished, and professional presence at all times
- Handle guest feedback and concerns promptly and professionally
- Represent the resort positively with clients, suppliers, and partners
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Manager or in a similar senior hospitality role
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people-management capabilities
- Excellent knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, and premium service standards
- Sound financial acumen with strong operational planning skills
- Experience in weddings, events, or premium venues highly regarded
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak event periods
