Our client is a leading banking and financial services organisation supporting Specialist Industries customers with tailored credit solutions and relationship-led banking outcomes.

About the Role:

The purpose of this role is to partner with Specialist Industries customers, Relationship Managers, and Product Partners to complete thorough and high-quality credit assessments. You will play a key role in structuring credit solutions, supporting responsible growth, and ensuring compliance across both new and existing lending transactions.

Reporting into the broader credit leadership function, this role works closely with Relationship Managers, Product Partners, lending services, and operational teams to deliver customer-centric credit outcomes while meeting quality assurance, audit and compliance standards.

What we need from you:

  • Complete detailed credit assessments and provide well-supported recommendations
  • Analyse industry and customer portfolios to identify risk and opportunity
  • Support deal structuring alongside Relationship Managers and Product Partners
  • Manage compliance obligations across new and existing transactions
  • Maintain strong awareness of industry, economic and market trends
  • Collaborate with lending services to minimise provisions and risk exposure
  • Build efficiency by working closely with operational teams and credit support functions

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong banking experience with proven credit assessment capability
  • Sound understanding of industry trends, drivers, and market conditions
  • Strong relationship management skills and stakeholder influence
  • Ability to interpret internal credit policy, guidelines, and scoring models
  • Portfolio management experience with a structured and commercial mindset
  • Strong business analysis skills and attention to detail in documentation
  • Ability to support and coach others through credit processes and decision-making
