About the Role:
Our Client is seeking an experienced Commercial Maintenance & Construction Plumber to join their growing team.
This hands-on position is responsible for delivering high-quality plumbing works across commercial properties, including installation, maintenance, repair, and upgrades of plumbing systems. The overall outcome of the role is to ensure all plumbing services are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high professional standard, while meeting compliance obligations and delivering excellent customer service.
What we need from you:
- Diagnose and repair plumbing faults in commercial buildings (e.g., leaks, blockages, fixtures)
- Conduct preventative maintenance on plumbing systems, valves, pumps, and hot water systems
- Perform testing and inspection of backflow prevention devices and thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs)
- Respond to urgent service calls and provide efficient fault-finding solutions
- Install and commission plumbing systems in new builds, refurbishments, and fit-outs
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and plans
- Install pipework, fixtures, sanitary systems, drainage, and fire hydrant services
- Collaborate with builders, subcontractors, and other trades to achieve project deadlines
- Complete required documentation (service reports, compliance certificates, timesheets)
What you’ll bring:
- Certificate III in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification)
- Current WA Plumber’s Licence & Gas Fitting Licence
- Knowledge of AS/NZS plumbing standards and compliance requirements
- Experience in both commercial maintenance and construction plumbing
- Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and technical skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Current manual driver’s licence
- Experience with fire service systems, pumps, and advanced mechanical services (highly regarded)
- Backflow prevention and TMV accreditation (highly regarded)
- Experience working within occupied commercial environments (schools, hospitals, offices) (highly regarded)
- First Aid/CPR certification (highly regarded)
