Our client delivers comprehensive, statewide fire protection services across Electrical, Dry Fire & HVAC, Wet Fire, Pumps & Plumbing, Passive Fire, and Maintenance. Their operations are aligned to Australian Standards, statutory requirements, and industry best practice, ensuring safety, compliance, and long-term asset performance.
About the Role:
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a fully qualified Fire Plumber / Sprinkler Fitter to join their Fire and Plumbing Division. Opportunities are available for both Sprinkler Fitters and fully qualified Plumbers.
In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection, testing, servicing, maintenance, and rectification of fire protection systems across commercial and industrial sites throughout the Perth metropolitan area. You will work independently and within a supportive team, ensuring compliant and high-quality outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on safety and professionalism.
What we need from you:
- Service, inspect, test, and rectify fire protection systems in line with AS 1851
- Work on systems including sprinklers, fire pumps, water storage tanks, fire hose reels, and fire hydrants
- Carry out installation and modification works aligned to AS 2118, AS 2419, AS 2441, and AS 2941
- Complete job documentation and reports using digital systems
- Liaise professionally with clients, site contacts, and internal teams
- Identify non-compliances and complete rectification works as required
- Participate in infrequent weekend work and rostered on-call service
What you’ll bring:
- Fully qualified Plumber and/or Sprinkler Fitter
- Proven experience in fire protection servicing, maintenance, and installation
- Strong knowledge of relevant Australian Standards
- Ability to work independently and manage jobs end-to-end
- High attention to detail with focus on quality and compliance
- Confidence using digital reporting tools/software
- Current White Card and manual driver’s licence
