About the Role:

As the IT Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the IT function, ensuring service delivery, system reliability, and strong user support across the business. Reporting to the IT Manager / Head of Technology, this role will oversee a team of IT professionals while also remaining hands-on with troubleshooting, escalation management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What we need from you:

  • Lead and support a team of IT support/technical staff to meet service levels and business expectations
  • Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of hardware, software, and network issues
  • Oversee onboarding/offboarding, device provisioning, and user access management
  • Ensure IT processes, documentation, and standards are maintained and improved
  • Monitor IT systems performance and coordinate maintenance, upgrades, and patching
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors/service providers
  • Promote a proactive, customer-focused IT culture across the organisation

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in an IT leadership or senior support role (Team Lead/Senior Technician)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows environments, and IT support tools
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, Wi-Fi)
  • Experience managing tickets, SLAs, and IT service delivery in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and motivate a team to perform at a high standard
  • Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with stakeholders at all levels
  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks
